Assessments
Pyramid Healthcare offers on-site and mobile needs assessments 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Assessments help to establish a client’s current status, treatment goals and more. Typical questions asked during the needs assessment process include:
- Have you participated in any kind of treatment program in the past?
- How often are you using and how much?
- Any current medical issues or medications?
- Any current or past mental health history?
The assessment process also allows the client, as well as medical and psychological professionals, to establish treatment priorities and determine an appropriate level of care, such as residential or outpatient treatment. We develop a highly individualized and effective treatment plan for each client.
Assessments are crucial to ensuring that addiction recovery treatment is effective in helping you find recovery. Whether or not you pursue treatment with Pyramid Healthcare, we remain a resource for questions, support and other needs. If we believe that our addiction recovery services may not be compatible with a client’s needs, we can provide outside referrals to ensure that the individual receives the care best suited to them.
Payment and Insurance
Pyramid Healthcare provides quality, affordable care to those who need it. We accept commercial insurance, as well as state and county funding and Medical Assistance (Medicaid). We also work with unions and Employee Assistance Programs.
A Pyramid Healthcare admissions professional will confirm if treatment services are covered by the individual’s insurance provider during the assessment process. You can also request that they verify your insurance. There is no obligation to enter treatment following insurance verification.

If a completed assessment indicates that an individual should pursue treatment, we can arrange for complimentary transportation to and from any Pyramid Healthcare residential facility. Treatment-related transportation for clients is available 24/7.
