Transitioning from an addiction recovery program into normal life can be challenging for some individuals. In this case, halfway houses can be an ideal step following residential treatment. This programming gives adult men and women the support and structure required to be successful when they return to their communities, jobs, and families.
What Can I Expect in This Program?
Pyramid Healthcare’s halfway houses in Pennsylvania are located in both rural and urban settings. Our homes provide a safe, clean, and supportive environment while clients work through reintegration. Staff are onsite 24/7. We do accept clients that are using medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services.
During their stay, residents obtain part-time employment, engage in volunteer activities, and pursue educational opportunities.
Clients also engage in onsite group and individual therapy and life skills programming. Individuals in our halfway houses participate in daily community meetings, recovery-based support group meetings, and are trained in life skills and job readiness. Our halfway house for women also helps women who’ve experienced domestic violence and sexual abuse.
Most residents spend about 90 days in one of our halfway homes. The actual length of stay depends on the specific needs of the resident.
