Senator Latham Tiver Visits Pyramid Healthcare at its Hammonton Location to Learn More about the Residential Treatment Center
Hammonton, NJ – March 5, 2024 – Pyramid Healthcare, Inc. welcomed New Jersey Senator Latham Tiver today at its Hammonton facility to tour the Detox and Residential Treatment Center. Senator Tiver met with staff and clients to learn more about the detox, short- and long-term recovery programs and discuss the importance of substance use recovery efforts to people in New Jersey’s 8th Legislative District and the entire state.
“It was a pleasure to meet the hardworking staff at Pyramid Healthcare and learn about the critical work they do for substance use recovery in New Jersey,” said Senator Tiver. “The data shows us that South Jersey communities have long experienced a higher concentration of suspected drug-related hospitalizations and deaths. Treatment centers like this one address gaps in access to care, providing crucial support to those seeking to enter long-term recovery.”
Pyramid Healthcare’s Hammonton facility has 194 residential treatment beds, including inpatient withdrawal management, short-term residential and long-term residential beds. The facility serves more than 2,000 clients a year, all of whom are Medicaid patients. In addition to residential treatment that includes medical assessment and management, counseling, targeted education, and case management, the facility also helps clients with discharge and aftercare planning.
