Pyramid Healthcare Expands in North Carolina as October Road Rebrands

Altoona, PA – April 28, 2025 – Pyramid Healthcare, Inc., a leading provider of behavioral health services, has announced that its North Carolina subsidiary, October Road, Inc., will rebrand as Pyramid Healthcare effective April 28, 2025. This transition unifies the organization’s identity while reinforcing its commitment to expanding access to high-quality substance use and mental health treatment across North Carolina.

Strengthening Behavioral Health Services in North Carolina

Founded in 2006 in Asheville, October Road joined the Pyramid Healthcare network in 2012. Over the years, increasing demand for accessible and comprehensive behavioral health services has fueled the organization’s expansion, leading to new locations in Mars Hill, Rocky Mount, Charlotte and Stokes County. Additionally, October Road’s Assertive Community Treatment Teams (ACTT) continue to provide vital community-based mental health services across the state.

While the name is changing, all programs, staff and services will remain the same. This transition allows Pyramid Healthcare to strengthen its presence in North Carolina while maintaining the same high-quality care and support that individuals, families and communities rely on.
