ALTOONA, PA – August 17, 2023 – Pyramid Healthcare announced the expansion of its existing residential substance use disorder treatment program for adults in York, Pennsylvania at a stakeholder’s ceremony and open house on August 10, 2023 at 5849 Lincoln Highway York, PA. The PA Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) Secretary Latika Davis-Jones, Director of Intergovernmental Affairs Derrick Pelletier, State Rep. Joe D’Orsie, Kelly Henshaw from State Senator Kristin Phillips-Hill’s office, York County Commissioner President Julie Wheeler, and York County Commissioner Vice President Doug Hoke attended.

Open since 2019, the residential treatment program in York is one of 24 Pyramid Healthcare behavioral healthcare facilities in Pennsylvania. The York inpatient program expansion includes the addition of withdrawal management/detoxification services, ASAM level 3.5 for females and 53 new beds for a total of 93 residential drug and alcohol treatment beds in the program.
